about

Staying home and making music cause it's 2020.

We have another EP coming soon (cause what else are we gonna do?), but for now, here are a few acoustic songs. These are all tracks that I originally didn't sing lead vocals for, yet I find myself singing them all the time.

"My Dad Taught Me How To Rock and Roll" is a song Todd wrote for our dad a few years ago as a Father's Day gift, and Wyatt helped him record it. I contributed some lyrics, but it's mostly a Todd/Wyatt product. I'm really hoping to do a full version of this one at some point.

"Tossing and Turning" is a song I wrote before I moved to Nashville in 2007. When the Loblaws got together in 2008, it was the first song I sent to the band to learn. Of course, it's track one on our Mutant Pop 7-inch.

"Johnny's Gonna Strike Out" is a baseball song I wrote for our second EP, and I had Donna sing it. I like to play it at my acoustic shows and wanted to record a version by myself.
